The rearing cage prevents most insects from escaping, but is also breathable. They provide good short term storage for viewing insects and other small creatures. They also make an excellent container for rearing caterpillars, with enough space to put plenty of the food-source in, but no way of escape.

One side zips open, and there is a clear viewing-window on the top. 

The cage folds flat when not in use, which makes them easy to transport or store.
